Anang Trayodashi Vrat 2021 Date, Tithi, Rituals and all you need to know

Anang Trayodashi Vrat is observed on the Trayodashi tithi during the Shukla Paksha in the month of Margashirsha of the Hindu calendar.

This festival is dedicated to worshipping Lord Shiva.

Anang Trayodashi Vrat 2021 Date: December 16 (Thursday).

Trayodashi Tithi Begins: December 16, 2021 2:01 AM.

Trayodashi Tithi Ends: December 17, 2021 4:41 AM.

Rituals:

Devotees get up before sunrise and take an early bath. They worship Lord Shiva with full devotion and dedication by offering fruits and flowers, besides performing the 16-step Hindu puja rituals.

After the puja, dakshina and food are offered to Brahmins and needy.

Fasting is an important ritual of the day. The vrat observer does not eat or drink anything on this day. The fast is broken at night after completion of all puja rituals.

Significance:

The vrat holds significance for devotees of Lord Shiva. It is believed that the observer of this vrat is bestowed with good fortune, health, wealth and prosperity.

As per belief, observing this vrat will also provide married couple, the happiness of a child.
