Annual HSC examination in Odisha from Feb 22

The annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination- 2016, conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha, would begin from February 22 for which online filling up of forms would begin from October 28. The process will continue till November 5 midnight, BSE sources said.

Notably, the Board has introduced online filling up of the annual HSC examination forms for the first time in the state.

“This is the first time students appearing their HSC examinations in the state will fill up their forms online. The examination will be conducted from February 22, 2016,” informed BSE president Dakshya Prasad Nanda here today.

Around 6, 03, 578 students would take the Matriculation Examination-2016.

Moreover, the BSE has planned to send marks awarded in answer-sheets from the evaluation centres to the result processing firm online to ensure more transparency in evaluation of answer-sheets and also to make the tabulation process error-free, revealed sources in the BSE.

It may be mentioned that the students who would appear in the annual board examination have already been enrolled online. Only filling up of the forms is left.
