Another 2275 test COVID-19 positive in Odisha; Sundargarh’s fresh cases 2nd highest

Bhubaneswar: As many as 2275 fresh COVID-19 confirmed cases have been detected in Odisha in last 24 hours. With this, the state’s tally further surged to 2,56,937.

Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 1318 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 957 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.

Khordha recorded highest 364 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh (150) and Cuttack (144).

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 25,635. However, 2,30,192 patients have recovered in the state so far.
