Kuchinda, Jan 27:
Three days after
In the second case of its kind in the district in the last three days, the decomposed carcass of a tusker was found in the Khairdihi Kadodar jungle under the Jamankira forest range on Monday, forest department sources said.
The tusks of the elephant are missing, leading to suspicion that the animal had been killed by poachers for its tusks, the sources added.
On Friday, the carcass of a tusker with bullet injury marks and missing tusks was found today near Ludhagura chhak in the Dhama forest range in the same district.
