Atish Kumar Sahoo tops KVPY exam in Odisha; CM congratulates

Bhubaneswar: Atish Kumar Sahoo, a boy from Odisha secured the 13th rank in the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) examination. Sahoo is also the State topper in the exam.

At present, Sahoo is studying in Class XI at Sai International School in Bhubaneswar.

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is an on-going national programme of fellowship in Basic Sciences. The scheme was initiated to attract exceptionally highly motivated students to pursue basic science courses and research career in science. It is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Praises and wishes poured in for Sahoo after the achievement. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik congratulated Sahoo said in a Twitter message,” the Odisha Chief Minister said, “Congratulate #Odisha boy Atish Kumar Sahoo on becoming state topper in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) examination by securing All India Rank of 13. Wish him and all the successful students successful career ahead.
