“We have arrested four, including three more youths today, in connection with the hurling of crackers at the residence of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) secretary Ahirbad Behera’s residence. Investigations have revealed that the incident is connected with an extortion racket controlled from Choudwar jail whose mastermind is presently lodged there. Still we are on the lookout for the three others who are still at large,” said Dr R P Sharma, twin city police commissioner.

It may be recalled that three unidentified bike-borne miscreants hurled crude bombs at Behera’s residence near Deer Park in Madhusudan Nagar area before fleeing. However, no damage to life or property was reported.
