The Sangh members with autorickshaws marched from Station Square to PMG Square demanding the closure of App-based autorickshaw services offered by three online service companies at cheaper rates.

The Sangh also demanded cancellation of licenses of these companies.

“Operation of these companies have affected our livelihood. We do not have network operations like theirs. How can we offer services at such cheap rates? How are we going to feed our children?” asked an agitator.

The Sangh held a meeting at the PMG Square and submitted a memorandum to the Twin City Police Commissioner to press for their demands.

However, commuters had a tough time as autorickshaws remained off the roads during the rally.
