Baby found crying near mother’s body in Odisha forest
Jeypore: In a heart wrenching incident, an eight-month-old baby girl was found crying near her mother’s body in a forest near Kebidi Chhak under Borigumma police limits in Odisha’s Koraput district this morning.
Though the identity of the deceased woman is yet to be established, it is suspected that she has been murdered.

On being informed, police reached the spot, seized the body for post-mortem, rescued the baby who went unconscious after crying for a long time and admitted the child to Borigumma hospital.
It is suspected that the woman was strangulated to death this morning as a piece of cloth was found tightly wrapped around her neck, reports said, adding that a liquor bottle and plastic glass were found from the spot of incident.
