Bhubaneswar: In view of possible congregation for elections to all affiliated Bar Associations scheduled tomorrow in Odisha, the State Government today ordered for strict enforcement of COVID-19 rules during the polls.
The Health & Family Welfare Department directed to hold the elections adhering to COVID norms to avoid possible spread of Coronavirus.
Ahead of the elections, Additional Chief Secretary Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra has written to all the district collectors, SPs and municipal commissioners asking them to enforce the COVID guidelines to prevent congregation during campaign and polls.
He suggested members of all Bar Associations to take part in the elections by adhering to COVID restrictions.
