Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha’s Kendrapara reopens for visitors

Kendrapara: The Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha’s Kendrapara district reopened for visitors today after being closed for 10 days.

A decision regarding closure of the national park was taken to carry out crocodile census at the wildlife sanctuary.

On the other hand, as many as 16 teams of the Forest Department were carrying out bird census in five ranges of Rajnagar Forest Division in Bhitarkanina, today.

The bird census commenced from 6 am in the morning and is scheduled to continue till 12 noon.
