Bhubaneswar Club hosts Urmila’s Art Exhibition on International Women’s Day

Bhubaneswar: As the world, along with the United Nations, celebrated Women’s Day on March 8 with the theme ‘gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow’, the prestigious Bhubaneswar Club celebrated the day by showcasing talent of a woman.

Some amazing and unique art works by Urmila Mishra were on display at the club. Her work reflected feminism with contemporary and mythological themes .

The exhibition was attended by IAS Vishal Dev , Mahendra Gupta , IAS Sanjay Singh, IAS Dilip Routray and Namrata Tripathy.

“The art exhibition at Bhubaneswar Club was a noble way to promote talents of women. It was a token of encouragement for many women whose skills often go unrecognized,” said one of the attendees.
