Bisra town in Odisha’s Sundargarh sealed for COVID-19 containment

Sundargarh: Bisra town in Odisha’s Sundargarh district was today sealed after two residents of the area tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.

Entry points at Dareikela, Puruna Bisra, Budheljar and Santoshpur have been sealed to restrict movement of persons in and out of the area. This apart, fire personnel have been engaged to disinfect the area.

Till last reports came in, a meeting between the Collector and SP was underway to take a decision regarding imposition of shutdown in Bisra town.

Maiden cases of COVID-19 were reported from Sundargarh as two of the four persons who tested positive for the virus in the state yesterday are residents of Bisra.
