Bizarre! Cops steal drumsticks in Odisha’s Cuttack; complaint filed

Cuttack: In a bizarre incident, two OAPF personnel allegedly stole drumsticks from a tree in front of a senior citizen’s residence in CDA Sector-7 area of Cuttack city.

They also misbehaved with complainant Basudev Mishra, a resident of the locality.

“Two OAPF personnel came on two PCR motorcycles on March 4 morning and started plucking drumsticks from a tree, which was planted by me in front of my house. As I opposed the act and reprimanded them not to do so, they misbehaved with me. They plucked around 25 kg of drumsticks and left the place on the two-wheelers,” said Mishra.

He has lodged a complaint in this regard with the Markat Nagar police station. The Cuttack DCP has sought a reply in this connection from the Markat Nagar police station IIC.
