BJD secures Hindol NAC; Keshab Pradhan becomes Chairperson
Dhenkanal: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) won the poll to Hindol Notified Area Council (NAC) in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.
Party candidate Keshab Chandra Pradhan was elected as the NAC Chairperson as he got 4347 votes, followed by BJP’s Sovagini Pradhan with 3923 votes and Congress’ Rita Palei with 219 votes.

The BJD won 11 out of 16 wards while the BJP secured five wards.
The voting was held on April 3 while the results were declared today.
Having a total of 9863 voters, Hindol had recorded a voter turnout of 87 percent during the poll.
