The party alleged that the Collector plans and chalks out Pranab’s election campaign and directs all school teachers, Anganwadi workers and block office staff to canvass for him .

“There are several instances of allegations coming up regarding collection and mobilisation of funds from the rich industrialists of the industrial belt of Jajpur district. He ( the collector) reports to the minister regarding the updates on the electioneering of various BJD candidates in his districts,” said Sharma.

The party also demanded  close surveillance of his movements and activities along with the call records of his cell phone after the announcement of the poll dates and claimed the records  will reveal serious proof regarding the gross violation of the poll code by the district collector.
