BJP team to visit Gop to review disputed land of Gajbhiye

A team of senior BJP leaders would visit Gop block in Odisha Puri district today to examine the land owned by former Kendrapara SP Satish Gajbhiye.

Sources in the party said a 15-member fact-finding team, led by the party’s state president KV Singhdeo and Bijay Mohapatra, would visit Gop and collect information about the disputed land owned by the former SP who was recently suspended by the state government for using brutal force on the people in Kendrapara on August 7 and 8.

It may be mentioned that the State Vigilance is presently investigating into the disputed land which has been forcibly occupied and owned by Gajbhiye at Badakiapala village under Gop block.

As per the allegations, apart from the actual land purchased in the name of his wife Ranjana Gajviye, Gajbhiye has occupied more land for pisciculture.
