Protesting the attack on Union Minister Santosh Gangwar’s convoy in Bargarh, BJP workers today showed black flags to Higher Education Minister Pradeep Panigrahi and Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Sanjay Das Burma in Odisha’s Ganjam district.

According to sources, the saffron party workers showed black flags to the duo when they were at a program in Berhampur university here. They also protested the visit of the two ministers to the university instead of meeting the victims of Kandhamal firing.

As many as 6 BJP workers were detained by police after the incident, sources added.

Similar incident had taken place yesterday as Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak was shown black flags by some BJP workers when the former was on a visit to the Balasore district headquarters hospital to take stock of the diarrhea situation.
