Thakur is here to attend the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Lok Sabha scheduled to be held here today. The PAC meeting will discuss different plans and development programmes of the government.

Later in the day, the BJYM head will hold discussions with the state unit members of the Morcha on strengthening its organizational base in the state.

“Bharatiya Yuva Janata Morcha will launch its Panch Kranti programmme, which will be flagged off from Delhi, across the country on 17th of this month. What can be a more auspicious date than this since it’s the Prime Minister’s birthday? The programme aims to bring about a revolution in five fields: yoga, health, building, skills and kanya shakti. ‘Kranti doots’ have been appointed in every district at the mandal level. The Kranti doots will take forward these five programmes to every corner of the country and reach at least one crore youth in the next two –three months. We have to reach at least one crore youth by January 12 next year,” said Thakur speaking to reporters here on his arrival.
