Bodies of woman, two kids fished out from well in Odisha, murder suspected

Paralakhemundi: In a tragic incident, three persons of a family were killed after allegedly jumping into a well in Odisha’s Gajapati district today.

The unfortunate incident took place at Narangajhula village under Rayagarh police limits in Gajapati district.

As per reports, local police fished out the bodies of Banita Karji (25), her 8-year-old son Sagar and three-month-old daughter Subhashree from a well. While the incident is said to be fallout of family dispute, preliminary investigation revealed it to be a well-planned murder.

Meanwhile, police filed a murder case against Banita’s husband Jayachandra – who is absconding since the incident.
