Body found from hotel room in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar, Feb 6:

The commissionerate police today recovered a body from a hotel room in the Odisha capital this evening.

The body was found from room no-104 of hotel Swagat on Cuttack Road near Chintamaniswar petrol pump under Laxmisagar police station limits.

The deceased has been identified as Mahendra Nayak of Kakatpur area in Puri district who was staying at the hotel since February 3.

The body was later sent to Capital Hospital for post mortem.

Police have registered an unnatural death (U/D) case and started investigation with the interrogation of the hotel staff.
