Body of young woman found inside trunk in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur

Jagatsinghpur, Mar 10:

Decomposed body of a young woman was found inside a trunk with hands and legs tied at Dhalitangagada forest under Tirtol police limits in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district today.

The identity of the deceased was yet to be established.

According to reports, locals had complained of foul smell coming from the trunk last evening. The box was opened this morning in the presence of police and the body was found inside it.

Police have seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.

Investigation into the matter is on.
