Body packed in sack found from drain in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: Body of a person packed in gunny sack was found from Gangua drain under Mancheswar police limits in Odisha capital today.

Locals spotted the sack floating in the drain with foul smell and informed the police about it. Cops reached the spot and took the help of Fire personnel to recover the body.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Bhadra, a vegetable vendor. He had gone missing five days ago and a complaint in this regard was lodged at the Mancheswar police station.

Investigation into the matter is underway.
