Bombing in Odisha capital: Prime accused held, two absconding

Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police today arrested Babu Nayak, prime accused in the Patrapada bombing case in Odisha capital.

Acting on a tip-off, the Mancheswar Police apprehended Babu while his two aides, who also have alleged involvement in the bombing, managed to escape from the spot.

Few days ago, Babu and his associates had allegedly hurled bombs at the house of a person in Patrapada on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

The act was captured on CCTV camera and police later identified the accused trio by examining the footage. A manhunt has been launched to nab the two, who went absconding.
