Bomikhal flyover in Bhubaneswar to open today

Bhubaneswar: The much-awaited flyover at Bomikhal area in Bhubaneswar will be opened for public today.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to inaugurate the flyover this evening.

At last, Bomikhal flyover thrown open to public

The flyover constructed at cost of around Rs 44 crore was decorated with colourful Rangoli for the inauguration.

With the operation of the one-way flyover connecting Bomikhal, Saheed Nagar and Rasulgarh, the railway level crossing at Saheed Nagar will be removed.

The project was delayed after a portion of the under-construction flyover collapsed twice in the year 2017 and 2018 killing two persons including a young entrepreneur.
