After the first quarter ended scoreless, the second quarter saw a high class display of skills from both the teams.

The Australians began with three goals in five minutes. While Chris Ciriello scored the first goal, Eddie Ockenden scored the second and Jake Whetton scored the third goal.

However, the Belgians fought back with Sebastien Dockier going alone to fire past Aussie goalkeeper Andrew Charter.

Later his team mate Simon Gougnard picked out Florent van Aubel to tap in his side’s second goal on the stroke of half-time.

Flynn Ogilvie, with his first international goal, extended the margin for Australia when he finished off a great move down the left flank but, within two minutes, John-John Dohmen tipped in from the second phase of a corner.

With the score at 4-3, the Belgians scored the equalizer as Tom Boon recovered a miscued drag-flick and smashed a thundering goal.

With this draw, Belgium bagged four points after two games while Australia have just one.
