Borewell vehicle overturns in Odisha’s Keonjhar: 1 killed, 5 injured

Keonjhar: A labourer died and five others were critically injured after a borewell vehicle overturned at Kanjipani ghat under Banspal block of Odisha’s Keonjhar district late last night.

According to reports, the victims, all belonging to a company in Tamil Nadu, were on their way to a particular place in the vehicle for boring a well.

Around 2.30 AM, the ill-fated vehicle fell off the ghat road killing one of them on the spot and injuring five others grievously. The deceased has been identified as Dharam Yadav of Chhattisgarh.

On being informed, police recahed the spot, rescued the victims and admitted them to hospital.
