Brown sugar worth over Rs 1.5 crore seized in Odisha

Balasore: In a major drug haul, Odisha Crime Branch today seized brown sugar worth over Rs 1.50 crore in Balasore district.

One drug peddler identified as Sheikh Sukra has been arrested for allegedly supplying the contraband.

According to reports, a team of Odisha Crime Branch seized the brown sugar near Arad Bazar Railway Station level crossing in Balasore district in the morning.

The team also recovered Rs 28,100 cash from possession of the accused person.
