Building sealed in Puri for allowing devotees on rooftop to watch Ratha Jatra
Puri: The Puri district administration today sealed a building of Akshaya Patra Foundation along Bada Danda (Grand Road) here for violation of curfew restrictions imposed in the pilgrim town for Ratha Jatra.
The district administration took action against the NGO as it allowed ISKCON devotees on rooftop of the building to witness the car festival of Lord Jagannath on July 12.

A team of district officials, including local Tehsildar along with police verified video footage of the incident and found the allegation true, informed Puri sub-collector Bhabataran Sahu.
Puri police informed that action has been taken against 10 violators of the curfew restrictions so far.
