Bus service from Puri to Odisha capital and Cuttack was halted this morning as Nilagiri Motor Employees Association resorted to cease-work stir protesting torture of a bus staff of Puri at Cuttack bus stand.

According to reports, the bus staff was tortured at Cuttack bus stand two days ago over an issue of bus halting duration at Puri and Cuttack bus stands.

Protesting the incident, the association launched strike today which has caused inconvenience for many commuters.
