Bus, truck collide head-on in Odisha’s Angul; 17 injured

Angul: A head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Tukuda under Jarapada police limits in Odisha’s Angul district today left as many as 17 persons critically injured.

The ill-fated vehicle carrying the victims was on the way to Angul from Boudh when it collided head-on with a truck around 11 AM. The bus turned turtle under the impact of the collision.

On being informed, police and Fire personnel reached the spot, rescued the injured ones and admitted them to the Angul district headquarters hospital. Condition of seven of them is stated to be critical.
