Bus-truck head-on collision leaves 30 injured in Odisha’s Sundargarh

Sundargarh: At least 30 persons sustained injuries after a private bus collided head-on with a truck on NH-143 near Biritala Chhak under Chandiposh police limits in Odisha’s Sundargarh district today.

Five of the victims who were critically injured have been admitted to hospital in Rourkela and Bonai.

According to reports, the ill-fated bus ‘Rakesh’ was on the way to Rourkela from Bonai when the mishap took place.

On being informed, police and fire personnel reached the spot, rescued the injured ones and admitted them to hospital.
