Businessman found hanging from tree, kin cry murder

Family members of a man, found hanging from a tree this morning in Biramitrapur area in Odisha’s Sundargarh district, have alleged that he has been murdered and then hung from a tree to make it appear like a suicide.

The deceased businessman identified as Dilchand Yadav was found hanging from a tree this morning under mysterious circumstances.

According to family members, Dilchand had gone to Rourkela with Rs 3 lakh to buy a truck yesterday. After reaching Vedvyas, he lost contact with them.

The family members alleged that Dilchand was abducted, murdered and then hung from a tree to mislead police.

The kin of the deceased has registered a case with the Biramitrapur police.

Meanwhile, local police have registered a case and have begun an investigation into the death of the 45-year-old businessman.
