Capital hospital ransacking: Odisha police scanning CCTV footage to identify culprits

Twin City Commissionerate Police is monitoring CCTV footage of Capital Hospital in Odisha’s capital city to identify the culprits involved in ransacking the hospital and attacking policemen on March 6.

The culprits attacked the police officers on duty at the hospital police outpost and then went on a rampage in the hospital breaking glasses, tables and chairs meant to seat patients. Scared patients and their attendants, including women, were seen running around everywhere in the footage.

The culprits went away after wreaking havoc for more than 10 minutes just before senior police officials along with reinforcement reached the spot.
