Cattle-laden truck seized, over 60 cows rescued in Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak: The Town police last night seized a truck on NH-16 near Dahanigodia in Odisha’s Bhadrak district and rescued more than 60 cattle from the vehicle.

According to reports, the container truck allegedly hit an SUV which was carrying pickickers. Occupants of the SUV informed the Town police about the incident, following which cops reached the spot seized the truck.

Soon, it was found that over 60 cows were being transported in the truck. The animals were rescued and sent to a cattle shed in Cuttack, police sources said.
