Centre sanctions addl Rs 99.38 crore for rural drinking water supply in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Mar 3:

The Centre today sanctioned an additional Rs 99.38 crore to Odisha towards augmenting drinking water supply in the state’s rural areas.

The additional sanction for the state was made by the Union Drinking Water and Sanitation ministry under the National Rural Drinking Water Project.

The ministry has directed the state government to put special emphasis on piped water supply.
