Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud visits Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud is on a two-day visit to Odisha.

Chief Justice Chandrachud today reached the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar from where he moved to Puri for holy darshan of Lord Jagannath.

The CJI received a warm welcome from Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator Ranjan Kumar Das and Puri SP Kanwar Vishal Singh in the pilgrim town. The senior servitors of the Jagannath Temple welcomed him at the shrine.

Chief Justice Chandrachud is scheduled to attend a programme on ‘Digitisation, Paperless Courts and e-initiatives’ at Odisha Judicial Academy in Cuttack tomorrow.
