Child dies of suspected Japanese Encephalitis in Odisha’s Koraput

Koraput, Oct 11:

A three-year-old child died at the Koraput district headquarters hospital today suspectedly due to Japanese Encephalitis.

According to reports, Sanjana Harijan of Badiadaguda village under Kotpad block was shifted from Jeypore sub-divisional hospital to the district headquarters hospital yesterday.

She took her last breath at the hospital today while undergoing treatment, sources said.

It may be recalled here that a two-year-old child had also died of suspected Japanese Encephalitis in Jeypore on October 10.
