Class 12 offline exam: Students unhappy with alternate assessment can register from tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) today stated Class 12 students, who are unhappy with the marks allotted to them on basis of alternate assessment, can register themselves for the Annual Higher Secondary (Special) Examination, 2021.

The students can register themselves online through their respective colleges or Higher Secondary Schools on SAMS e-Space between September 3, 2O21 (2.00 PM) and September 9, 2021(1.00 PM).

The CHSE added the students, who were issued Admit Cards for Annual H.S. Examination, 2021 and whose results have been declared on the basis of alternative assessment criteria and are dissatisfied with the declared results can register themselves to appear the Annual H.S. (Special) Examination, 2O21.

Also, ex-regular students, who had never appeared in any annual H.S. examination conducted by CHSE prior to 2021 but Admit Card was issued to them for Annual H.S. Examination, 2O21 can now register themselves for appearing in the special exam.

The CHSE added no examination fees will be collected from the students registering for the Annual H.S. (Special) Examination, 2O21.

Those who opt for appearing at the Annual H.S. (Special) Examination, 2021 will have to forego the present results. Results of the Annual H.S. (Special) Examination, 2O21 will be final and binding on the students, who opt for such examination.

The examination will be held only in major papers, to be decided on the basis of the number of students registering for the purpose. Marks in all other papers will be awarded on the basis of the marks secured in the major papers as decided by the Council.

Examination will be held in selected exam centres, the list of which will be declared later on, taking into account the number of students registering for the Annual H.S. (Special) Examination, 2O21.

Question pattern for the Annual H.S. (Special) Examination, 2O21 will be the same as notified for Annual H.S. Examination, 2O21 earlier.

The council added the programme for the Annual H.S. (Special) Examination, 2021 will be notified in due course of time.
