CM Naveen inaugurates 38 more Aahar centres in Odisha  

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated 38 Aahar centres in 17 districts across the State today.

Patnaik inaugurated the facilities, including one at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Sijua here through a video conference at the State Secretariat here.

Sources said people attending to their relatives undergoing treatment at 56 hospitals across the State can avail meal at the Aahar centres at Rs 5.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said, “Aahar is a popular scheme. Quality and cleanliness are the hallmark of Aahar centres. With the cooperation of all stakeholders, around one lakh meals are currently being served at 157 Aahar centres across the State everyday.”
