CM Naveen inaugurates Rs 19 cr projects in Odisha’s Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, inaugurated 12 projects worth Rs 19 crore in Nabarangpur during his one-day whirlwind visit to the district today.

The projects include a community health centre (CHC) at Chandahandi, two  boys’ hostel buildings of Patraput High School and Jamaguda High School and two upgraded higher secondary schools at Papadahandi.

Besides, Patnaik laid foundation stone for 16 other projects worth Rs 1,097 crore. The projects include construction of two bridges on Bhandari river.

This apart, the CM distributed bicycles to 2520 construction workers, and safety kits to 3000 construction workers, land patta to 975 slum dwellers, forest land patta to 1511 beneficiaries, homestead patta to 2400 beneficiaries, revised Madhu Babu Pension to old and destitute, pump sets to 180 farmers and Rs 25 lakh assistance to Mission Shakti Association of Umerkote block.

The Chief Minister would later leave for Jeypore in Koraput district to inaugurate and lay foundation of various various welfare projects after a public meeting at Umerkote stadium.
