Cold wave in Odisha to subside in next four days

Cold wave conditions in Odisha would gradually subside in the next four days, said a Met release here this evening.

According to the release, there would be marginal rise in the night temperature in the state in the next 48 hours while the temperature would rise in the next four days up to January 23.

Meanwhile, there was little change in the cold wave condition in the interior and south Odisha district today.

While Daringbadi in Kandhamal district recorded the lowest temperature at 8 degree Celsius, temperature remained below 10 degrees in Keonjhar (8.6), Sundargarh (9.4), Bhawanipatna (9.5), Koraput (8.5) and Phulbani (8.2).

Besides, places where temperature hovered around 10-13 degrees were Baleswar (12.6), Angul (12), Baripada (11), Jharsuguda (11.6), Sambalpur (12.5), Hirakud (11.2), Talcher (10.6), Bolangir (12.5), Titlagarh (12.5), Malkangiri (11.6) and Dhenkanal (13).
