Cold wave warning across Odisha for next 48 hours

Bhubaneswar: Cold wave condition is likely to prevail at various places across the State during the next 48 hours.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the regional MeT Department, cold wave condition likely to prevail at one or two places over Kalahandi, Bolangir, Nuapada, Boudh, Sonepur, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sundergarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Balasore districts of the State for the next two days.

The weathermen said the minimum temperature is likely to drop below normal by three to five degree Celsius across the districts during next two days.

On January 30, the highest maximum temperature of 29.6 degree Celcius was recorded at Malkangiri while the lowest minimum temrature of 6 degree Celcius was recorded at Angul.
