College Lecturer held in Odisha for raping, blackmailing girl since 2014

Aska: A Lecturer was arrested today in Ganjam district for allegedly raping a girl while threatening her to viral her objectionable photos and videos. The accused was an Economics Lecturer of Sorada College in the district.

Based on a complaint filed by the girl at Aska police station, the Lecturer has been arrested.

As per the complaint, the accused had been raping the girl since 2014 when she was studying in Class 9. She further stated in the complaint as she going to the Lecturer’s residence while studying in Class 9, the accused lured her and clicked some obscene photos and videos.

On different occasions, the Lecturer raped the girl while blackmailing her to make the obscene photos and video viral.

When the complainant refused the Lecturer to let her sexually exploited, the accused made the pictures viral, the complaint mentioned.
