Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the alleged rape and murder of a woman veterinary doctor in Telangana last night, the Commissionerate Police today issued an advisory for women in Bhubaneswar.

Don’t trust strangers and enter into conversations. Dial 100 in case of distress, the advisory stated.

Besides, the police suggested women to stick to places with people, e.g. shopping area, petrol pump till PCR van arrives.

Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi and DCP (Traffic) Sagarika Nath issued the advisory in Bhubaneswar.
