The accused woman identified as Kalyani Pradhan is a resident of Rani Apartment near Rajarani temple under Badagala police limits.

As per reports, the accused woman was running the agency from her house and used to lure investors with lucrative schemes. She used to assure gullible investors of two fold and four fold of their invested money.

Lured with the schemes, one Satyananda Satpathy of Nischintakoili in Mahanga deposited Rs 12.75 lakh in 2012. Kalyani had assured him of double return of the invested money in four years.
