Conduct proper measurement of Trahi Achyut ashram land before eviction: HC

The Orissa High Court in a significant order today directed the state government to conduct proper measurement of the land before going for eviction in the Trahi Achyut Ashram land encroachment case.

The Trahi Achyut Ashram Trust authorities had moved the High Court challenging the Khurda district administration’s move to make the area encroachment free as illegal.
The district administration authorities had on Wednesday demolished the post office and dispensary buildings allegedly constructed on encroached government land in the ashram premises.
