Cong to flag off poll campaign from Malkangiri today

The state Congress is all set to flag off its campaign for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections with a public meeting at the DNK ground in Malkangiri today.

The convention in Malkangiri will be followed by similar events in Jeypore and Rayagada later in the day, Congress sources said.

The meeting will be addressed by Union Minister Srikant Jena, AICC in charge for Odisha BK Hariprasad and PCC chief Jayadev Jena among others, Nabarangpur MP Pradeep Majhi said. The public meeting will highlight the all-round failure of the BJD government in the state during its 14-year rule and particularly its anti-tribal policies, Majhi said.
