Congress replaces three poll candidates in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Congress made a last minute change in the list of the poll candidates for one Lok Sabha and two Assembly seats in the 2019 elections.

The party replaced Fakir Mohan Naik with Mohan Hembram, who was nominated for the assembly polls from Telkoi seat, for the Keonjhar Lok Sabha Constituency.

With the last minute change, Hembram will file nomination as the Lok Sabha candidate on Congress ticket for the upcoming polls.

Similarly, candidates were changed by the party for two assembly seats in Odisha. While Prashant Dalei will now contest the polls instead of Mohan Hembram from Telkoi Assembly seat, Binod Nayak was nominated to enter into polls in place of Gopeswar Nayak from Patana Assembly seat.
