‘Convergence-2015’ concludes at IBCS of SOA varsity in Odisha capital

Madhusudan Institute of Cooperative Management (MICM) emerged overall toppers at “Convergence-2015’, the two-day B-School Meet organized by the Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS) under the SOA University which concluded on Saturday.

ConvergenceManagement students from altogether 16 institutes including the Utkal University, Regional College of Management (RCM), Sri Sri University, Birla Institute of Management and Technology (Bimtech) and Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan took part in the different competitions.

The competitions included quizzes, singing and dancing with exotic names as Acumen (Business Quiz), Melodi on (Antakshari), Xingler (solo vocal), Steps on (solo dance), Spur on (Extempore) and Advergence (creative projection of an advertisement by students).

Prabhakar Mohanty, Director (Finance) of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd, was the chief guest while Prasenjit Singh, Associate Vice President of Tech Mahindra was the guest of honour at the valedictory function which was presided over by Prof BK Sarap, Deputy Chairman of SOA University.

Prof Jyotirmoy Mohapatra, Dean of IBCS and Dr Samita Mohanty, coordinator of ‘Convergence-2015’ also were present.
