Eminent academician and vice chancellor of Delhi University Padma Bhusan Dinesh Singh would be the chief guest at the convocation ceremony of the Utkal University of Culture which would be held at Rabindra Mandap in the Odisha capital on April 10.

Sources in the University said six eminent artists would be conferred with the honourary Doctorate degree at the convocation.

They are Gobind Tej, Pranab Kishore Patnaik, Prafulla Mohanty, Utsav Charan Das, Jitendra Haripal and Krushna Patel.

Apart from this 81 students would be awarded gold medal and 11 others would be awarded PhD, the sources added.
